The East Anglian Film Archive, owned and operated by the UEA, features a wonderful selection of local Norfolk footage from WWI and WWII. The collection presents “a variety of aspects of wartime experience in the East of England region including military service, Home Guard and Civil Defence, American airbases, bomb damage, fundraising and farmers making best use of land.” Of particular note is the colour footage of bomb-savaged Norwich as filmed by an American pilot. Enjoy exploring the archive!
