American Connections is now playing in Fusion (in the Forum), examining the connections between East Anglia and America. The show focuses on the impact American wartime visitors had on local lives and how, when peace arrived, families found themselves on the move.
This show includes footage filmed by American USAAF pilot Captain Rowsell, during his wartime stay in Norwich. It also includes the touching story of a woman whose five daughters all married GIs and emigrated to America.
American Connections will be playing until Saturday 12 May. Fusion is open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm. More information can be found here.
